A practice has a bedside manner too.

Yours is spread across a website, marketing, an intake form, and everything you hand a patient on the way out. Written at different times, for different reasons. When was the last time anyone read it straight through, as one experience?
I help independent clinicians and small practices fix that —building the things that let you reach past your own schedule.
FOR CLINICIANS AND SMALL PRACTICES
THE DISTANCE PROBLEM

You didn't go into practice to become a marketer, and patient education can be an afterthought in clinical training.
But the gap between the care you give and the way it gets described is real. It shows up in whether patients follow through, and it costs you when growing a practice.
That gap is a communication problem, not a clinical one. It's fixable, and it isn't your job to figure out alone.
WAYS WE MIGHT WORK TOGETHER
Your voice and your front door
We work out who you're for and what you do. Then I build what carries it: positioning, a brand guide you can hand to anyone, the website, and the marketing assets and plan that keep it consistent after I'm gone.
Patient-facing materials
Your ideas and expertise - I help you say it. The handouts, protocols, and emails that decide whether a plan gets followed. Written so a worried person at a kitchen table can follow them. The smallest engagement here, and often the one people feel first.
The business underneath
What to offer, what to charge for it, and how the practice actually runs day to day. Service and package design, pricing, the internal systems that hold your documents and workflows, and a repeatable process for building anything new without starting from zero each time.
Teaching what you know
A conference talk, a podcast, a course, a CME offering. The ways your thinking reaches people who will never be on your schedule. I build the curriculum structure and the production process behind it, coach the delivery, and hand over something you can keep running.
Figure out what to build next
A membership, a group program, a second location, a course. Four ideas and no way to tell which one people would actually pay for. I talk to your patients and your staff, map what they're really working through, and test the ideas against it. Most of the value shows up in those conversations.
You end with two prototypes, not one.
The build-toward
The version worth real investment, once you know it's the right one.
The do-now
Something you can launch this quarter with what the practice already has.
HOW IT GOES
A CALL
LISTENING
BUILDING
Thirty minutes. You describe the problem. I tell you whether I'm the right person.
I talk to you, your staff, and potentially a few of your patients. That's where the real language comes from.
You review twice. I hand over something finished, plus the files to keep running it.
This is for you if...
You're opening a practice and building it as you go
You've developed a way of working you believe in
You want income that isn't tied to your schedule
Word of mouth is working and you want it to scale
You'd rather build something once and keep it
Probably not if...
You're looking for paid ads and lead funnels
You want a logo and nothing else
You're a health system with a marketing department
You want someone posting for you daily

"Matt's skill set is exceptional: design, website, writing, messaging, marketing. But what matters most is that he cares more about getting the message right than simply getting it done. He’s direct, detail‑oriented, and persistent in the best way, always working to understand our perspective and help us land on something that is authentic to our voice. It’s been an enormous relief to have someone we trust handling the pieces that aren’t in our wheelhouse and doing it with such care, which allows us to stay fully focused on the clinical work and what we do best."

PROOF POINT
WHOLEHEALTH NP
My wife Kate and her business partner Laura have over thirty years of clinical experience between them. They created a WholeHealth Model and then went on to build one of the largest integrative and functional medicine practices in the country.
They founded WholeHealth NP to share their knowledge with clinicians and organizations who want to replace fragmented treatment with coherent, whole-person care.
I helped them find their voice and build what carried it — positioning, brand guide, website, marketing assets and plan. Then, much of what a practice actually needs to run: a repeatable process for developing their courses, internal collaboration systems, and pricing and product decisions underneath it all.
Yes, I'm married to the client. It's also how I learned this work from the inside.
Below, you can scroll through a few examples of assets I created for them — their website, conference materials, and social media cards.
